I am a Wiltshire based artist, living in the beautiful town of Bradford on Avon. My work is process driven, creating artwork through the medium of cyanotype photography, textiles and stitch. I draw inspiration from life experiences, the natural world and decorative arts. I have always loved working with textiles, manipulating and embellishing fabrics and incorporating photography.

My interest in the historic cyanotype technique piqued at University, captivated by the freedom to create my own ‘negative’ using any object. Searching for everyday objects and exposing them, has became a creative adventure in itself.

I am currently experimenting with different exposure methods on a range of surfaces, exploring toning techniques and incorporating textures. I love how unpredictable the results are, no two prints are ever the same. The cyanotype process never loses its magic for me: watching the image slowly appear when the print is washed feels like witnessing alchemy.
